Unleashing Fever: Our First NPR Tiny Desk Submission

This was finally the year! We had music in the making and better understanding of our sound so we did it. We decided to take that leap, pouring our creativity and passion into a new song called "Fever." With its catchy melody and uplifting message, the song encourages listeners to celebrate their successes and share how powerful it is.

Just two days before we filmed our performance, we wrapped up writing "Fever." The intricate vocal arrangements were a product of our collaborative spirit; we stayed up late, perfecting each note to capture the exact vibe we wanted. The contribution from each member has influences from R&B, pop, and jazz. This fusion makes "Fever" sound both fresh and nostalgic, appealing to a wide audience.

The lyrics of "Fever" celebrate personal success and the way it can uplift those around us. The upbeat rhythm and engaging chorus invite listeners to dance and motivate them to embrace their achievements.

So how long did this take? Well it is not our first time recording a full video with sound so you can probably guess... it took hours! Even with practice setting up equipment for gigs and previous recordings, it still took a whopping 5 1/2 hours to get this done, 2 of which was just waiting for pro tools to cooperate. That did not stop us from getting a good take though!

We poured our heart and soul into "Fever." Listeners can hear that dedication in every note. This song reflects the highs and lows of our experiences but ultimately promotes a message of perseverance and positivity. Success goes beyond individual achievements; it's also about creating an environment where everyone can grow together.
